Wat Pha Sorn Kaew (Meaning: temple on a glass cliff), also known as Wat Phra That Pha Kaew, is a Buddhist monastery and temple (Wat in Thai) in Khao Kor, Phetchabun, in north-central Thailand, about 5 hours drive north of Bangkok.
It is famous for its amazing series Bhouddas. Wat Pha Sorn Kaew is installed on an 830 meters high hill and surrounded by mountains. The main pagoda and surrounding buildings are adorned with more than 5 million of colorful mosaic tiles and pottery items. It is unique in Thailand, a white porcelain statue made up of five Buddhas, standing tall amidst the surrounding mountain ranges. The design of the five Buddhas took a leaf from the concept of Russian dolls, with each Buddha statues grouped in a row from the smallest to the largest.
Architecture
Wat Phra That Pha Son Kaew consists of 3 important places which are
- Phra That Pha Sorn Kaew Pagoda Siriraj Thamnaramit The pagoda was built in imitation of lotus flowers. There are 7 layers of overlap. The color of the pagoda is made of pearl tiles, glass beads, silver rings, and gold bowls. Colorful ceramics to decorate and create beautiful patterns and colors.

Buddha sits in an enclosed pyramid-shaped hall. The modern design broadens the definition of what a stupa can be.
- 5 Buddha's Cathedral, the base is 41 meters wide and 72 meters long with the height of the 6-story building, totaling 45 meters in total. The 1st and 2nd floors are the accommodations of the practitioners of the dharma. As for other areas Used as a religious place, such as prayer, listening to dharma, practice prayer.
- The Dhamma Practice Hall or the Jade Buddha Pavilion. Which is a meditation pavilion in the mountains? The building is in a clear square shape. Decorate around with large glass panes making the pavilion look spacious and able to fully experience the surrounding nature.
Within the pavilion is aa shrine of Phra Phutlert Rattanachotmanee or "Jade Buddha Green Buddha" which is a Buddha statue of Marang Chai Buddha posture art in the Chiang Sean period has a lap size of 64 inches. The whole body was carved from the whole green jade. And the head of the Buddha also contained the Buddha's relics so that people can worship as well.
Phra Phutlert Rattanachotmanee
the white jade Buddha or Buddha Rattanarat. White jade Buddha statue, sitting cross-legged created according to Gandhara art style with a 39-inch lap. His head contains the load of Buddha's relics similar to the Green Jad Buddha.
